In order to help everyone keep the recommended six feet distance, we’ve implemented a curbside pickup system. Here’s how it works:

Call us and let us know what you need and we will put together your request. Then, when you get here, call us again from the parking lot and we’ll bring it out!

Ted Brown is the Seattle destination for Band and Orchestra instruments, whether it's for a professional player, a student stepping up, or a first-time rental. We have 90 years experience, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a great location with free parking.

We are also Seattle's best source for sheet music, our clientele includes chorale and band directors, and teachers of all types.

Offering lessons, instrument repairs, and a full line of guitars, amps, keyboards, and pro-audio, we are truly the one stop shop for music in the Seattle area.

Services

Our band and orchestra rental program makes learning to play accessible to everyone, not just school age students. Our rentals are name-brand teacher-approved instruments, and our 10-20-30 discount program makes it easy to purchase an instrument of your own when you’re ready.

We offer an assortment of private lessons for all ages and experience levels. Not matter what your goals are, we have a teacher that can help you get there. Plus, we offer lessons both in-person and online, allowing you to learn in the way the best fits your schedule.

From band and orchestra to guitar and drums, we have a technician that can help with whatever repair you need. We are also the warranty service location for all band and orchestra instruments we sell and will help coordinate warranty work on everything else.

We believe music makes lives better. With that in mind, we founded Ted Brown Music Outreach in 2007 in order to educate, provide exciting musical opportunities, and help put instruments into the hands of those who otherwise couldn’t afford it.
