Creating a Mariachi Program
Mariachi is a HOT category in public schools, often utilized in many districts to preserve music programs and promote diversity alongside traditional Jazz options.
Incorporating violins, band, and guitar instruments, Mariachi brings various music classes together to form a cohesive musical group. This clinic is designed to assist music educators in starting a Mariachi group at their schools. It will provide instructions on how to get started, method books, sheet music, a chance to play the music, and an overview of what is needed to begin this endeavor. The clinic is open to all music educators and students.
