What is a Bluetooth Audio Transmitter / Receiver A Bluetooth Audio Transmitter/Receiver is a device that wirelessly transmits audio from a source to a connected Bluetooth device, such as wireless headphones. The Bluetooth device receiving the audio has a Bluetooth receiver that decodes the transmission into audible sound.
Hosa's Bluetooth Audio Transmitter/Receiver can also receive audio transmissions by pairing with speakers, allowing you to stream music from your phone or computer.
How to Use a Bluetooth Audio Transmitter / Receiver:
Bluetooth Audio Transmitter Setup: Begin by fully charging your Bluetooth Audio Transmitter/Receiver. Once charged, power it on by holding the multi-function button for three seconds. The blue light will blink to indicate it's powered on.
Switch the mode selector to "TX." Connect one end of the audio cable to the transmitter and the other end to the audio output of your source device. Enter pairing mode by holding the multi-function button until you see alternating red and blue lights. Put your receiving Bluetooth device, like wireless headphones, into pairing mode and hold them close to the transmitter until pairing is successful.
Note:You can send audio to two Bluetooth receivers simultaneously by pressing and holding the multi-function button and initiating pairing again.
Bluetooth Audio Receiver Setup: To use the device as a receiver, turn it on by holding the multi-function button for three seconds. Switch the mode selector to "RX." Connect one end of the audio cable to the receiver and the other end to your destination device. Enter pairing mode and pair with your source device as described above.
Press and release the multi-function button to play or pause the current song.
